Frequently Asked Questions

Is this course just for one specific sport?

Not at all. While the idea for this course was born from my experience in golf, the lessons inside apply to any competitive sport—basketball, soccer, swimming, cheer, track, and more. The focus is on the emotional and relational side of youth athletics, which transcends any one game.

What exactly will I learn in this course?

You’ll learn how to support your child emotionally through the highs and lows of competition. That includes how to talk to them after tough performances, how to build their confidence, and how to strengthen your relationship through trust and understanding.

Will this help even if my child already has a coach?

Yes. This course isn’t about replacing coaches—it’s about helping parents become a powerful emotional support system. You’ll learn how to complement what coaches are doing by being the steady, supportive presence your athlete needs.

My child shuts down after losses. Can this still work?

Absolutely. In fact, this course is made for situations like that. You’ll get tools to help your child feel safe and understood, even when they don’t have the words to express what they’re going through.

How long is the course?

The course is made up of short, engaging modules you can complete at your own pace. Each section is designed to be practical and easy to fit into your schedule, even if you're a busy parent.

Do I need to be an athlete or sports expert to take this?

Nope! You don’t need to have a sports background. What matters most is your willingness to learn how to show up for your child emotionally, especially when competition gets tough.
